Football Development Centres are offering a further education programme for 16-18 year olds for 2016 school leavers. Players are able to continue their football aspirations by training daily to an academy level, playing against professional clubs and studying to achieve a BTEC level 2/3 in Sports Performance and Excellence. Football Academy and Education for 16 - 19 year olds
Our football acdemys allow school leavers to continue their education by studying an extended diploma in sports science whilst continuing with any football aspirations they may have. Our private academy allows players to study the equivelant of 3 'A' levels while training everyday.
You will be coached by UEFA qualified coaches with a lot of experience including Premiership Academy and Youth football. Training will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's sometimes with double sessions. Not only will you take part in a football syllabus used by professional academies, you will also have a fitness programme and regular testing to help you get to the top of your game.
Extended Diploma in Sport Science
You will take the BTEC Level 3 extended diploma in sport science which is the equvelant of 3 'A' levels and with the right grade can help you progress into University or USA schlorships. Entry requirements for the BTEC level 3 are 5 GCSE at c and above including English and Maths.

FDC football currently have two locations available for football education scholorships, our flagship academy in Lostock, Bolton and at one of our partner clubs Bacup Borough in East Lancashire.
